WORK
Kavun Kahve
Going from three shops to eleven meant the identity had to survive the copy machine. We wrote the rulebook too.

DisciplineBrand identity, brand management
Concept work. The brand and the numbers are invented.
The brief
An identity that held together across three shops came apart at eleven, because each new manager ordered signage from whoever was nearest. There was a logo file and nothing that said what to do with it.
The approach
Colour was tied to the roast instead of to the company, so light, medium and dark each own a bag while the wordmark stays put across all three. Splitting the palette three ways meant the wordmark had to carry the identity alone, which is why it is set wide and never locked into a container. The rulebook is written for a shop manager placing an order, not for a designer opening a file.
